Since upgrading to Windows 10 I have found to my detriment that Movie maker and VideoLan VLc player no longer seem to work. I have run the compatability checks and tried switching settings to both windows 8.1 and windows 7 but STILL no joy.

It looks like this plugin does not work anymore on an up-to-date vlc, so I am abandoning it.

FYI if you want to use this plugin with vlc-nightly, you'll need to use the fork I'm maintaining here:
